Over the summer I went to Maine Media Camp at Husson University. It’s a summer camp where high school students get to stay on the Husson campus in the dorms for six days and experience working with many different types of communications. We also got to experience a little of what life at Husson University would be like. We spoke with music producers and got to see a professional music production studio. We learned the basics of graphic design using Photoshop. We got to use cameras to record a live band performance while others worked with sound boards and microphones. I got to talk to professors and students about NESCom, about what it was like, the opportunities I would get, the classes I would take, and life on campus. I think it was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in communications.
