The Last Unicorn Lost to Early Morning Fire

by Breana Marr

On April 23rd, 2023 in Waterville, Maine, a restaurant called The Last Unicorn burned down at around 4:00 in the morning. The fire was determined to be accidental. Fire officials believe as of right now that it started where cleaning rags were kept, and they will let us know more when they get more information. Fortunately, the Silver Street Tavern and Cancun Mexican Bar & Grill, which flanked either side of The Last Unicorn, were not seriously affected. As the firefighters were trying to fight the fire, three of them got hurt, but they were treated at a nearby hospital and released.

Movie Review: Dog

The movie Dog, which came out in 2022, is a great movie to watch if you have not seen it. It is a heartwarming comedy movie. In the movie, the Army ranger, Jackson Briggs, is transporting his former partner/friend’s dog to his memorial service as he had gotten into a bad car accident. As they set out on their road trip, he has different rough patches with the dog, but by the end of this movie, even past all of the struggles between Jackson and the dog, it shows they made a true connection with one another.
